In the deploy stage of our lifecycle, we help configure and test your technology, seamlessly migrate data from any and all existing systems, install everything at your site(s), skill-up your employees to use the new systems, and rigorously test the system one final time.

Asset & Image Creation

As part of the deployment process, GLOBAL MICRO performs and asset management audit. The upshot is a complete summary of your hardware & software, up-to-date information on the warranty status, and an identification of any unauthorised or mislicensed software. It’s exactly the kind of granular view that you need to ensure your infrastructure is properly deployed.

Once audited, we create an “image” based on the standards that you’ve chosen for your infrastructure. Using this image, every new PC or server that joins your network will be loaded and configured to exactly the same standard. It also simplifies the process of adding users to your system (see our procure phase for more on that).

Data Migration & Protection

Given that you are changing from one system to another, there will clearly be a need to bring port or migrate business-critical data. You will also need to ensure that user profiles and other important information are not lost in the process.

GLOBAL MICRO’s deployment experts ensure not only the successful and seamless migration of your data, but also its protection at all costs. By factoring in these requirements during the procure phase, we know exactly what data you have, where it needs to go and how it needs to get there. So you merely need to know it will happen, no problem.

Configuration, Testing & Installation

Before being rolled-out at your premises, every element of your infrastructure is configured at our data centre. We install all software, create user profiles, configure your network --- all based on the agreements you made up front.

We then test, test and retest to ensure if works flawlessly, so have zero worry and zero risk once we bring the technology to you. And on that note, we work closely with you to ensure that the deployment of your new infrastructure is done with as little impact on the business as possible. Our technical experts, already briefed during the procure phase, ensure this phase runs as smoothly as possible.

Training

Of course, there’s little sense in deploying something that no-one knows how to use. Which is why we work with you to ensure that your administrators, power users and general users have a very clear view of the system and its capabilities. This also helps introduce them to Global Micro and the value of our partnership.
